Ramble

People don't like to take blame.  Older generations say that the current generation is the WORST generation ever.  They've been saying this for generations.  Younger generations say older generations didn't care enough.  All of it is true.  We are ALL The Problem.  Every single one of us.  Each generation that has laid the blame at the feet of the one before it, or after it, is part of The Problem.  I hear people saying that the USA is the best country in the world.  The best in what?  Being full of itself?  I'm sure other countries have this problem, too, but do all of them act like insufferable twats?  We are NOT free.  Every single morsel of information we get is looked at, picked over, washed, re-washed, dyed and tinted a different color.  Our information is not CORRECT information.  We are lied to, misinformed, and told to appreciate the knowledge given to us.  You want the real truth?  You have to wade through mountains of shit, garbage, and decayed half-truths to find it.  You need an excavator and a haz-mat suit.  You will get pelted with more filth and shit as you try to dig your way to understanding.  Why?  Because people should be happy with the shit they are spoon-fed.  You should APPRECIATE that you are given shit.  It's like people complaining about their job, and someone else saying, "You should be happy that you have a job!"  If your job is shitty, and they treat you terribly, you shouldn't be happy to have it.  You shouldn't have to put up with it.  You wouldn't, if you ACTUALLY lived in the best country in the world.

The USA is broken.  Can it be fixed?  Maybe.  If we continue to let people lie to us, and fill the broken pot with shit that seeps through the cracks, it will NEVER be fixed.  I don't know how to fix it, and, most likely, neither do you.  It will take a LONG time to fix.  There is just so much to BE fixed.  When money is valued over human lives, something is broken.  When people put blind faith into their leaders, and when those leaders vilify those that question them, something is broken.

We are supposed to be a free country.  If we are, then we need to show it.  Protest.  Over-throw corrupt leaders.  Make damn sure YOUR rights aren't trampled on.  If we can happily give up our freedoms for a false sense of security, then we damn well don't deserve ANY of these freedoms.
